Project 2025 is a plan for the U.S. government if Donald Trump becomes president again in 2025. It is a very detailed document with hundreds of policy ideas and executive orders aimed at changing the federal government to follow conservative values and describing exactly how they will stage a permanent rightwing takeover, systematically undermine our democracy and roll back our rights, protections, and benefits; while also creating new surveillance and control programs to target marginalized groups.
Kevin Roberts, President of the Heritage Foundation, which created Project 2025, called it “[T]he most unified project in the history of the conservative movement.” He also said, “We want no credit, we want the American people — if President Trump is elected again — President Trump and his administration to take credit for that.”
Roberts has openly called it a "revolution" and threatened violence if "the Left" does not comply.
Donald Trump is the Project 2025 candidate. Electing Donald Trump is critical for Project 2025. There is no other way they can claim the power to execute their plot. And of the 36 named authors of Project 2025, 27 are people Trump hired for his last administration; at least 140 people he hired are involved.
